Ok so it's been a while....
So I have second, and only a second, to breathe tonight and promised myself I would post a few things that have happened in the last 5 months.
Benson no longer looks like a scrawny alien baby and has changed and grown so much and he just had his HALF birthday! He is babbling and squeaking and almost sitting up by himself. He hates to be on his tummy so the crawling thing may take some time. He gets so close sometimes to pushing up on his hands and knees but by the time her gets to that point he is fed up with the tummy time. But he LOVES his jumper, and sometimes falls asleep in it! We have had so much fu with him and a few more lake pix are here as well.
Jason also ran the St. George Marathon this past October in the pouring rain, and of course even though it was his 1st marathon he did it in 4 hours in the pouring rain, no less. His birthday was in November along with our 2 year anniversary. And we bought a new townhome.
A lot has happened so here are a bizzillion pix to catch up. I'll try harder to keep up with things now, I'll make it a new years resolution or something...

Hit it Dad.
Benson had his first run on the wakeboard at only 5 weeks old. We think he is going to be a natural. It took him a little time to get used to the water because he thought it was a little cold, but he got used to the water after about a minute or two. When we showed our Elders Quorum President the picture he said he wouldn't be surprised if the kids first words were Hit it. Nothing would make his father prouder. He is definitely on his way to "Riding like Ty."

Benson Tyler Arrives
Benson made his grand entrance into this life at 4:48. He wieghed in at a amazing 7 lbs. 3 oz. and measured 20 inches long. Sabrina had him natural because they tried to inject the epidural twice unsuccessfully. Benson was turned and so he had to be rotated before he came out. It was an amazing experience and we are so glad to have him.
Benson Tyler's first ride
So there we were 3 days before sabrina was scheduled to be induced, and we were at the lake and sabrina asked me if i thouhgt she could wake surf. I had my doubts and I made some of them known. Personally I didn't think she had the stomach muscles to get up. Well my doubts inspired her to try all the more. To my shock and embarassment she got up the first time and showed most of us guys up especially the doubting husband take a look...

SG TRI... more like BI
This was Jason's second... actually... first Triathalon - well, Biathalon... in reality.
You see, last October, Jason signed up for the St. George Tri. He was pumped and ready to go, everyone was in the water ready to start the swim- and then they called the whole event off on account of a storm that had started to roll in. Huge bummer!
So this year looked promising, the sky was clear and it was a bright and sun shiny day- except for the 40+ mile an hour winds! So once again, Jason got ready for the swim to begin, but so many of the Olympic Tri swimmers who had already started the swim had to be rescued, they felt it was better to cancel the swim for everyone and only do the Bike/Run part. Sadly Jason and the hundreds of others trudged off to their bikes, only to become BI-athletes that day.
It was still a great day and Jason did very well for his first time. He was fast coming out for the bike and I just about missed him on the way in, and he did really well on the run portion too! Under a 7.5 min/mile in the sand! He finished 12th in his age division and 113th out of about a thousand people in the whole race. Good job Hun!
So what's next! The St. George Marathon in October and perhaps a fun little jaunt to Mexico next May for the Rocky Point Triathalon...

Logan Kyle Parkson Has Arrived!
Cutest nephew born ever! Born at 5:11pm on May 1st at 9 lbs. 6 oz. My baby sister probably had one of the nicest labor and deliveries there could have been. She ended up at Spring Valley Hospital with a great L and D nurse. Once they decided to break her water, she had Logan about 2 and a half hours later! I hope I will be so lucky, but I won't hold my breathe. I still have 6 weeks to go!!! Logan is doing great and so is mama! We're so happy he's finally here.
The Last Supper
We really shouldn't have called it this but- that's kind of what it was. My sister was scheduled to be induced Thursday morning, May 1st to have her little boy, and apparently you aren't allowed to eat anything before you go in, so we decided to fill her up on alfredo sauce at Olive Garden. It was our last dinner with just the 6 of us and no children. We're moving into a whole new world here, and so again, we took one more bellie shot of the two of us.
Visiting Great Friends In Boston
We went to visit my friends from Arizona, Crystal and Ryan, that I hadn't seen in 3 years. They are attending school at Harvard and live really close to all the fun stuff in Boston.
Crystal is due just 10 days before me and is also having a baby boy. We did a lot of great things like eating Italian in the North End, the Duck Tour (left), climbing 294 stairs all the way up to the top of the Bunker Hill Monument, and yes I was just about 7 months prego then and we did it in 12 minutes! (center), and the Boston Museum of Fine Arts where, yes we are flaunting our bellies. (I know, I'm strange).

Baby's First Photos
Here is our little baby boy Benson Tyler! This is at about 27 1/2 weeks. Jason and I, my mother and sister, and Jason's mother and sister, all went to Sneak Peak to see my 4D ultrasound. It was so amazing. I love to see our little baby and I could have sat there all day watching him. He did the cutest things and I can already see a lot of Jason in him.
When he's not lodging himself under the right side of my rib cage, he's bouncing around and dancing on my bladder. We saw him sucking his thumb and fingers and he even kicked his leg up to his head to suck his toes! We have a little monkey baby!

The Gunderson's +1
We're expecting! Our first baby is due June 21st. Jason wouldn't get me a puppy so I guess a baby is the next best thing. Totally kidding of course! Jason is especially excited. He's already using the recliner his parents got us for Christmas to practice soothing the baby and taking naps. I was excited to finally start looking pregnant, but now I am eating my words. I have gained 15 pounds in the last 3 weeks! Yikes! But still, very excited. There is so much to get ready and so much to figure out before the baby arrives. Any and all advice is welcome!
Another Day at the Office
Because we just started this blog we thought we would share a couple of our passions with you.
That Was Totally Wicked!
The Food Alone Was Worth The Trip
Get Me To The Church On Time!
It was the day that Sabrina thought would never come... and it almost didn't! On the morning of our wedding Sabrina discovered she had misplaced a very important document that would allow us to be married. She couldn't find it and we almost weren't going to be able to get hitched that day. Lucky for her- she found it...I thought I was going to be left at the door- I wasn't even going to make it to the alter! But, November 11, 2006 was an irreplaceable day!
